Kelvin Hall

Equine-Assisted Process

for counsellors, therapists and other professionals

My own initial supervision, lasting several years, was with Peter Hawkins, author of “Supervision in the Helping Professions”.

This was followed by four years with a psychodynamic supervisor, and then 20-odd years peer supervision with colleagues who have mostly been BCPC trainers.

I have  22 years' experience of supervising counsellors and therapists in private practice and voluntary agencies, and also staff in therapeutic and educational organisations.

I have also designed and tutored peer supervision training within organisations.

Following a number of roles within training, educational and therapeutic organisations in recent years, I now also offer supervision for managers and executives, particularly in the caring professions.

My approach is Integrative, including Psychodynamic, Person Centred,Transpersonal, Body-Oriented, Mytho-Poetic, and Intersubjective/Dialogic perspectives. I have been researching the place of the Ecological Self in therapy practice. Until recently I was a Trustee of Bath Centre for Psychotherapy

and Counselling.
